I’m posting this as a Hot Tip, which it is, but it would also be fair to call it a public service announcement. Controlling odor in a Bikram Yoga studio is always a challenge but it’s impossible to do without everyone’s cooperation. One thing that we all can do for each other is to de-odorize ourselves before coming into the yoga room. And by “de-odorize” I do not refer to the common practice of masking body odor with other smelly stuff (deodorant, perfume or cologne, mainly). I am speaking of removing odor of any kind from one’s body by showering or, at least, washing one’s armpits before class.
